The MISTRALS international meta-program (http://www.mistrals-home.org/) is based on different thematic programs (BioDivMex, ChArMEx, HyMEX, MERMex, PaleoMeX, SICMed) for an integrative vision of the Mediterranean system. The majority of these programs address the issue of climate change impacts, while the Mediterranean region is considered a "hot spot" for this global change.

The goal of this workshop is to present recent research conducted on climate change impacts in the Mediterranean region, within the framework of the various MISTRALS programs, and to propose common perspectives. This workshop aims to bring together a wide range of researchers and students whose work is related to the impacts of climate change, to improve dialogue and interactions between climate modelers and the different scientific communities.

This workshop is associated with the Mediterranean Experts for Climate Change initiative (http://www.medecc.org). It is endorsed by Med-CORDEX (www.medcordex.eu).
